Music production

From a voice-memo idea to a release-ready session: arrangement, instrumentation and production with Marco Eisenberg and the engineer team in Vienna-Josefstadt.

Producer at keyboard and guitarist in the live room during a session.

Production at Nobodyluno is more than mic time: we shape the song, pick sounds, schedule tracking in the live room and booths, and document each step so mix and master later stay straightforward.

We have worked in the 3 rooms at Lerchenfelder Straße 14 since 2019 — Take U6 to Josefstädter Straße, then walk about 6 minutes along Lerchenfelder Straße toward the inner city to number 14. Alternatively tram line 5 to Lerchenfelder Straße/Neubaugasse, then a short walk.. First call and quote: contact, usually a reply within 2 business days.

How it works

  1. Song meeting

Demo, references, tempo, mood. We outline arrangement, instruments and whether outside players are needed — fixed package or day rate by scope.

  2. Pre-production

Structure chart, backing tracks, click and guide parts. You know what happens on production day and what to prepare.

  3. Production day

Tracking in the 42 m² live room, overdubs in iso booths, producer and engineer at the desk together.

  4. Mix-ready export

Named multitracks or first mixdowns, handover note for mixing. Optional follow-on services in the same plan.

Projects we take on

Pop, hip-hop, singer-songwriter, electronic with live vocals, band demos and EP prep — anywhere someone needs a song moved from idea to a playable, professionally recorded version. We do not sell off-the-shelf beat packs; we work on your material.

The demo package (€450) targets one clear outcome from a sketch (label demo, crowdfunding teaser, etc.). Larger EPs are planned in €780 production days (8 h) or €110 hourly blocks.

Roles in the studio

Marco Eisenberg leads creative production (arrangement, performances, edit decisions). Engineers handle signal path, editing and session logistics. When needed we tie in vocal recording and later mixing — one coordinator keeps the schedule.

You stay in charge: references are welcome, and we will say plainly when a part needs another take or rewrite instead of hiding it with tricks.

Live room and control room flow

The 42 m² live room fits drums, guitar amps, keys and small ensembles — up to about 6 people including staff. Gobos and iso booths keep tracks clean for the mix later.

At the 32-channel desk with 24 mics we log takes, comp suggestions and tempo maps. Breaks are built in; overtime only by agreement at the hourly rate.

What the demo package covers

Typically: a short pre-production call, one focused production day (or two half days), basic editing and export of a mixdown plus stems for external work. It is not a full EP, but a credible listening proof.

Not included: full mastering, third-party musician fees, PRO registration or video. For mix budgeting see planning your mix budget.

What to bring

  • Raw idea: voice memo, guitar loop or MIDI sketch
  • Reference tracks (for vibe, not copying)
  • Lyrics if vocals are planned
  • Goal: demo, single or EP track

Bring your own instruments if you like; basic backline and DIs are on site. Check tuning and maintenance — studio time costs more than changing strings at home.

Delivery and follow-up

You get multitrack WAV exports and optionally a Logic/Pro Tools session. Mixdowns are for listening, not a substitute for professional mixing. Production changes stay within booked scope; new sessions are quoted fresh.

Projects remain on our servers for 24 months. Rights and usage are covered by contract and terms — we do not give legal advice.

Limits and realistic expectations

Production can improve arrangement and performance, not replace your input. Very short “overnight finished” requests are declined when quality would suffer. Minors from 16 with guardian consent.

Podcast or speech work belongs under podcast production, not this service. Unclear briefs are fine — start with the FAQ or 01 890 4523.

After production day: mix, master, release

Common chain: multitracks from production → mixing in-house or elsewhere → mastering for streaming. We help hand off the session (track names, tempo, key) so the mix phase does not lose time to housekeeping.

Release planning (distributor, artwork, dates) stays with you; we supply audio and short technical notes. If you only need a proof first, start with the demo package and expand later — without restarting from zero when day-one recordings remain usable.

Follow-up sessions: Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed Sunday. Managing director: Lukas Gruber. Page updated: 15 October 2026.

FAQ

Do I need finished beats?

No — we can start from sketches. External beats are fine when rights are clear; we discuss that in the first call.

Is mixing included in the demo package?

A mixdown for approval yes; professional mixing is separate. Many clients book mix right after production.

How many songs per day?

Often one song with vocals and several instruments — depends on complexity and prep. EPs span multiple days.

Instrumentals only, no vocals yet?

Yes. Vocals can follow in vocal recording later.

Where are the terms?

Terms and conditions; privacy at privacy policy. Book via contact with 30% deposit after confirmation.
